Automated Adjustment of Visual Elements in a Personal FinancialManagement System.

Three finalists were chosen across the entire bank. The other twowere full teams. This was the only solo entry.

The invention makes money management feel alive. Change a savings goal and everythingconnected to it recalculates and redraws in front of you: budget categories rebalance,timelines shift, and recommendations appear before you commit. No mental math, nodisconnected screens, no guessing what a decision costs you.

Problem Statement

People don't struggle with money because they lack discipline. They struggle because theylack clarity. Budgets and savings goals live on separate screens, connected in real life butdisconnected in every banking app. When a customer asks the most basic financialquestion there is, "if I do this, what happens to that?", today's tools answer with staticdashboards and leave the math to the customer. TD's own concept research found usersmisreading monthly totals, unsure whether a red number was a charge or a balance. Thatgap between decision and consequence is exactly where financial confidence breaks down.
